In Taishō-era Japan, Tanjiro Kamado's life is shattered when he returns home to find his family slaughtered by a demon. His only surviving sister, Nezuko, has been turned into a demon herself, though she miraculously retains a spark of human emotion. To find a cure and protect others from the same tragedy, Tanjiro joins the Demon Slayer Corps. Carrying Nezuko in a wooden box on his back, he masters the "Water Breathing" and "Hinokami Kagura" styles to face the Twelve Kizuki—the most powerful demons in existence. The story has now reached its final stage in the Infinity Castle, where the remaining Slayers must navigate a shifting fortress to defeat the demon progenitor, Muzan Kibutsuji.
